Yesterday while at work I got an order of ASE's from ebay. One of my fathers friends says to me so you like silver huh, I got a few saved back Ill bring em over sometime and let you look at them, well today at work he shows up with 2 boxes. Tells me to look thru them and everything is for sale.

Passing on the gold presidential dollars, state quarter proofs, the suzan B's, dateless buffalos, war pennies, Poke'mon bars and numerous other foreign coins I find 1 40% , 2 walking ladies and a ben franklin. 3 pre 64 quarters. 11 dimes, 3 being rosies, 2 1912's and the rest mercury heads, 1 war nickle, 3 morgans and 2 ASE's 95 and 99 both proofs with CoA.

I made my offer and he lowered it saying he didnt expect that much and he was glad to sell them to someone who will enjoy them. I was stunned and couldnt get the money out of my pocket quickly enough.

Wasnt found in the traditional manner but there was a bit of searching involved and it all adds to the pile.

So do tell..... how was your day on the hunt to add to the pile?

Very nice. I have an uncle with a jar full of dimes he keeps promising to bring for me to look through, said he already pulled the mercs but he did not know that some rosies are silver.

Today, 64, 67, and 69 from a teller tray and 65 and 66 from boxes. HH!
