On the way to where we searched on fathers day, we passed by one of our other farms. We were happy to see 2 small areas of set-a-side. Sadly after 1 hour all we had was 1 penny & the largest Lead Button we have found. (medieval I think:icon_scratch: )
We then carried on to the fields we wanted to do, only to find they had been medium ploughed & were too difficult to detect.:tongue3:
We drove around a couple of other places with no joy & then settled for 1.5 hours on the already done Saxon Gaming Piece Field. (now very weedy!)

1 Tudor Button
2 scrappies (not pictured)
Dad saved the day with a Hammered Penny of Charles I.:hello2:

At least a hammered! :icon_thumleft: I'm doing the tractor tracks in the potatoe fields because there is no other option.... :BangHead:

I'm so envious of you guys hunting in Europe. That to me seems like a great day of hunting. Congratulations on some great finds.
