Ornate metal disc.

This was found in an old park opened in late 1800s. I also found a 2 1/2 cent trade token near by. It is about the size of a half dollar. I have no idea what this is. Any ideas??

i would guess lid to an old perfum bottle. looks like it was hinged the square hole would be where the hinge was, and the round hole was probably part of the latching mechanism. (just a guess)
