Ornate little door?

Found this detecting an old house dating back to the mid 1800's. Looks like it was a little door as there are hinges. Very ornate and made of brass? Thanks Rich..

It looks to be from the Victorian era, which had all sorts of trinket boxes, etc., and snuff container would be my guess too. Nice find, Breezie
