Found this at a pretty old house site and can't figure out what it would have went to. It looks kind of crude with its hash mark design and has a stop tab on the underside for stopping it from turning too far.Any idea what it turned on or off?I do think it was before the house was electrified so not sure it was anything of that nature, but I may be wrong. Thanks again

Sash lock of the 1890s, this particular version of H. B. Ives' patented cam-style fast was used on countless Queen Anne cottages and other late-Victorian homes.
