So I’m reposting in natural light and I have a quarter to distinguish size .
I hope this pic does the rocks justice I have a hard time deciding if I should zoom or not zoom flash or not flash !!lol!!

Download a magnifier app, I love the one I got on my phone - works really well.

Seeing the crystal structure is important. Still look like spessartines to me but until a close up of the individual crystals can be seen can't be too sure.

I want to agree with stdenis, they look like spessartine garnets to me as well, but the pic is a little blurry......
