My bride and I were driving through Palataka today and stopped at Dunkin Donuts. The paper had an article about a building being demolitioned soon. I asked the cashier where this building was and I drove over there and swung for a little while. The fence is not up yet, if you went over there tomorrow, you would have unfettered access.

I found some clad. There is tons of junk and foil pieces, so make sure you have a good discriminating machine if you are going to go.

Also, bring bug spray, it was very hot today, but when I went under the tree on the river side of the lot and near some other bushes, the mosquitos were swarming.

Good Luck!

Hey Jack, this is Tom. Took your advice and went by there yesterday. Too late! Half the fence was already up and they were working on the second half. Oh well! Went searching for new sites and have a couple of possibles. Went back today to two of them and just found some clad and a 1995 Phillipine 3 Centimes. Go figure, not too many Phillipinos in Welaka Florida.

I thought there would only be a couple of days window. Sorry for the wasted fuel!

No problem. We enjoy driving and I found quite a few more prospects.

Hope all is well with you and yours,

Tom
