The point looks ok to me.

Some material will have mineralization accumulate faster than other types.

Grand conditions and chemical concentrations in the ground will have an impact on how quick mineralization and patina will accumulate on the relic.

I have found Harrison County flint points in close proximity to each other during the same relic hunt, where one will have heavy patina and mineralization and the other appear to have little to none.

Harrison County flint has a darker hue, with ranges from a blue to almost black. However, these same relics can often have a dirty white to chocolate brown look when heavy patina has accumulated. Personally, I think finding one of these heavy patinaed relic which has some damage showing the underlaying color can be fascinating on how much it changes the surface.

I like the point that's for sure.
I'm just wondering if the having been found in a feeding area, the waste urine would have had any effects on the look?
Urine pH in dairy cows was 8.10, ranging from 7.27 to 8.71, and that in beef cows was 7.73, ranging from 7.42 to 8.12.

Okay, thanks. It’s the fullest BS point I’ve ever found to date. I’ve only found 2-3 over the years and didn’t want to get my hopes up if it wasn’t a good point.
Lots of good information for everyone to read. TY everyone

That’s a nice find, seems like you’ve got a pretty good scattering of spots that produce early artifacts
Thanks I enjoy it every time I’m out finding or not. I have been lucky a few times but most of my collection is Woodland period.
