What is everyones opinion of the f4? I have one on the way from Dennis in NY, who is a great guy to deal with. It has the 11" dd, 8" and 4" coils. I have seen alot of good things about the f2 and they seem to be the same machine. I am just looking to get opinions from all you experts on this forum.

I have an F-4, and I love it. I have had many types of detectors being a dealer, but with the 4 inch sniper coil, it's hard to beat. I had some F-2s, and they are a very good machine, designed to compete with the Ace 250, but I perfer the F-4.

Own both the f2 and Ace. Ace seems better for jewlry and f2 hits harder on the coins. I own a quattro wich is great on coins and this little F2 for the Money rocks. It hits coins harder than any machine ive ever owned. Love My F2 though light and fun to use. Im sure the F4 should be just as fun enjoy.

I've had an F4 for 2 years now. Love it. It's been good to me 'cept it did break once but was quickly repaired under Fisher's 5 year warranty. I bought a White's M6 and thought I'd 'downgrade' the F4 to a backup but I gotta tell ya, I almost prefer the Fisher F4. It's quieter operating, lighter weight and depth are hard to beat. It's spot on on coins. Go with the F4, not the F2 if you can.
