Hello all,

This is a “What do you think?” Post rather than a find. The photos taken are on my families Ranch in Reagan County, TX, about 15 miles north of the old Stiles ghost town. I was excavating mesquite trees around an old lakebed, and in that lakebed there is a pretty distinct mound (oval shaped probably 20 ft long, 4 ft high, 8 ft wide). In that mound there are very large slabs of limestone you see in the photos attached. (Keep in mind that in this part of the county, surface limestone of this size and frequency is very uncommon.)

Anyways, getting on to my question to the community; do y’all think the triangle shape in the stone is natural or carved by hand tools? The only reason I think there is a possibility of it being man made is the conformity of the corners where they meet, and how the fractures continue on. I am definitely an amateur and this is my first post, so any feedback would be great!
