Opinion on detector_____________--

I recently picked up an Ace 250 and have done really well with it. A friend has a 5900 di pro he is willing to trade even for the Ace. What would you do?

Boy, you got me. I use to have a whites eagle, and i would trade for the eagle. But the 5900 i don't know. I think it would have the depth advantage over the 250. But if the 5900 is 10 yrs old, I'd stay with the 250, simply because the electronics of the 5900 might be getting tired. Not much help i know, but good luck with your decision. HH

IF it were a 6000-D, I'd Say SWAP, However I don't Know What The Difference Is Between it & the 5900.

as RV said Age Makes A difference.

WAS it used Hard ?

one More Thing You Should take into Consideration.

Don't do it,,,

the 5900 is old tech. and out dated with no warrantee, etc.

I think if it is an SL model it is a little newer.I had one and did pretty good with it but I have never seen the 250 in action so it is hard to make a comparison.I hear it is great for the money.Good luck.
