Right and isn't this referring to Swedens immigration laws?? So why is an American concerned about Swedens immigration laws. Why is it any Americans business. Why does any American have the right to comment on the laws of the nation of Sweden?? Do some of these look familiar??

Don't get me wrong, I think people can comment on anything they want. And we live in a truly global world. Just pointing out how absolutely stupid the comments made to some of our foreign posters are. Completely stupid and ignorant.

I guess I fail to see the comparison....Bevo simply posted a link...he didn't offer any comment, or express an opinion regarding the information offered. Dano, on the other hand, has often expressed his dislike for our bill of rights...and the rights it's designed to protect. Also, Bevo is posting on a US-based forum...unlike Dano, who posts on a forum based in a country in which he has no vested interest. Lets make an effort to compare apples to apples, please.

Roy, people have "feared" the immigrant since the beginning of time. The term barbarian basically means "not roman"? If we were having this discussion a hundred years ago you would be talking about lazy Irish and Italians. You might even hang an "Irish need not apply" sign in your shop as many did. And god knows they all spoke with those crazy accents and were papists by god!!

The immigrants and "the others" have always been the target of the ignorant, the fascists, the nationalists, etc etc for ever. And usually they target these people because there are usually much much bigger issues that they want you to ignore or not see.
