OP Scrap metals

Hello!
I am thinking about trying to salvage some metals from different things.
F.eks gold from some computers.
I also have a old LCD TV which I think I am going to open.

Is there anyone out there who do this kind of operations ?
I know the acid gas can be toxic but I have a good vented garage I am thinking on doing this OP in.

Any tips where I should start ?

I don't know anything about LCD teardown but I do not think there is any precious metals in it.

I have been doing computer teardown for over 6 years. lots of good things inside.
The most valuable are harddrive greenboard, RAM & CPU. but I pull all boards.
I also recycle old cell phones (close to 35,000 now)
