ONONDAGA CHERT

We find a good many points made from Onondaga Chert here in Central Pa., the majority of them being Meadowood points. The material comes from New York, and i suspect most came to this area in finished form as i find very few chips of it on the sites i hunt. I am showing these samples, for those who are not familiar with the chert to show the variations.
