Went for stroll through the hunted out park this AM and found only pull tabs and scrap metal, and . some clad coins also and that's about it! Didn't stay long enough to do much good. Knee was really bothering me and I forgot to take my knee brace. Oh, did find a pigeon foot band that is soaking in water and detergent so I can see what it says. There's someone here on the forum that knows what the numbers and letters means, so I will post as soon as cleaned up. Ho Hum day! Monty

I use a knee pad on all hunts. That hunted out park, look for the areas you would take a girl of your dreams to and hunt those areas. These are the secluded areas and generally look like dead ends. If it's a hunted out park, you just have to be smarter than the average bear, LOL! HH, Mike

Heck, it's not hunted out. Everybody just thinks it is. You can walk a straight line across it anywhere and get several coin hits and dozens of mystery hits. The grass near the parking lot is loaded and I need to take my 4 1/2"coil because of all the junk mixed in with the good targets. I carry a gardening pad with me and the ground hurting my knee isn't the problem. I just turned it the wrong way about a week ago and it's hurt every since, plus I have a touch of arthritis in my knees anyway. Monty

Better luck next time, Monty...
I hope your knee gets to feeling better...
Good luck & Happy hunting~

I feel for you ( just about every day )

My knees are about shot. I had been told a couple years ago by a doctor, that I would have to have BOTH of them replaced eventually because the x-rays showed severe degeneration. I have proven doctors wrong before, and think I will again. Getting in some MDing as often as I can stand, is one way I can do that. Being 300 LBs ( & slowly dropping ) doesn't help on the knees, but the thrill I get from digging up a good target, more than makes up for the pain. Besides ... reminding myself of what it would be like MDing from a scooter is reason enough to go out, get the excercise, & have fun.

;)

AKA,

heck I never found a pigeon foot band, think that's neat.

Know what you mean about problems with the knees, we just have to learn to live with it.

have a good un...........
