Only 4 yardsales Saturday I got so bored Sunday.

I drove about 20 miles total and bought 1 cell phone, so Sunday I decided to go to a swapmeet. They are every sat & sun but I only go 3 times a year. It is always way too crowded and a lot of new k-rap.

I ended up buying a bracelet marked 14K it was a half ounce and had three colors of gold. got home and it tested FAKE. Good thing I only paid $1

Also bought over 50 cell phones. What is funny, at every booth that I saw phones I said I want to buy all they had. When I tell them 50¢ they either laugh and walk away or start looking for every phone they have.

Also, stopped at one big booth and it was filled with boxes all lined up in rows. everything was bottom of the line junk. I have seen better at picked over yardsales. I get about half way down one isle and look up and now I know why there is so much junk. This was Dave Hester's outlet "store". So, on Storage Wars if he points to a box and says he can get $50 he really means $1.00 if he is lucky. I did end up finding some SF Giants memoribilia I offered him a dollar and he wanted $2 and wouldn't come down a bit.

Same deal around here, for the most part: Hardly any sales, none of them good. Ended up at an estate sale warehouse, and snagged a nice Pendleton wool scarf, some neat vintage stickers (c. 1970's Oakland A's Booster Club, S.F. Fleet Week '82, a few Navy air squadron insignia, and a very nice 1985 Coors Bill Elliot NASCAR sticker), and a hefty chain bracelet with the markings worn down. It's now at the jeweler's being polished up and having a new clasp installed

I went to Jarrod and Brandies store last month and it was full to but everything I was interested in was way over priced. and no the A##ho#e and the Bit## were not there.

probably. IMHO the directors can fake a reality show all they want but the "actors" true personality will show through no matter what the directors do.

Hester was in the Indianapolis 500 Festival parade in Indy this past year. Most people were applauding...not just him, but everyone in the parade. Someone booed him, Hester heard it, and it really shook him up.

I thought it was funny to watch how unnerved he got.

Say that on camera yesterday. Dave said something derogatory about Darrel and Darrel was standing right behind him. Dave was visibally embarressed and got "off" camera very fast.

Not me!! I admit I am not a Robert Redford look-alike, but I don't think I am a Darrel look-alike either. I am sure you were referring to another member.

Here is a better look at my mug. While you are at it here is my family. My wife (I have tried to get her to quit smoking) My wonderful (& single) daughter and of course the family pooch.
