While waiting for the snow to melt in the mountains, I went to the local high school to get use to using my new 13" Detech Coil for the MX Sport. This school has been pounded but I did manage to find a toasted piece dollar at 10" and a 1944 mercury dime at 5". The Silver dollar came out coated in some hard black substance with what looked like straw, I found out that area that I hunted was the holding pens for livestock back when the area 102_8463[1].JPG102_8463[1].JPG was used as the fairgrounds in the early to mid 1900's. Hey first silver of the year.
