Looks thin and delicate. Around here (East TN) we would call that a Guntersville arrow point.
 

wasn't it monsterrack who told us that those little stone points could do a lot of damage...it was one of you knapper/hunters..

well they used them little points on buffalo here on the upper plains. Keep in mind, there was a stick behind them points causing a fair amount of grief for them critters too. It isn't always just about the tip of the projectile.

I was thinking Mississippian point.
 

Cool point ... A while back I found one similar it was about the same size and color. Unfortunately it was lost during a move.
