That's a great looking copper. Definitely a nice find, especially at 10 inches deep. Congrats.:thumbsup:
 

Looks good. I have many old coppers but decent Georgies are few and far between.
 

Nice looking KG. I wish they come out of ground in that condition around here.

Very rare that they come out of the ground like this around here too. The ground was dry and it was deep which is why I think the patina and detail survived.
 

Great find there Romeo, you can't be hunting a field I did, I know I wouldn't have missed that big fella. LOL.
 

Looks great Romeo. I've only found two and can barely make out the outline of the bust on both of them. Can you get a date off yours??

1774...i think that's the most common date for these.

Yep - I can definitely see a "3" as the 3rd number in the date. Nice lookin' copper - WTG!
 

Yes got a few dozen of those now and dates are hard to come by especially fields....great save!
