Got twice this weekend and hunted two schools . Yesterday , Saturday , was the best . Went to a school that had never given up silver or gold so I had to find some :laughing7: . After about an hour I had a +81 at 6 inches . When I pulled back the plug I saw a flash of silver  . It was a 1964D silver Rosie dime :hello2: . After that it was clad city for the rest of the hunt .
This morning I hunt a school I had not hunted since 2008 . It gave up a lot back then but today not so much :BangHead: . In the first 10 minutes I had a +82 on the surface , come on silver !!!! NOT ! It was a big junk ring :laughing7: . Looks good in the picture don't you think :laughing7: . All the rest of the finds were tokens and junk . The one cool find I found was a elongated penny from Graumann's Chinese Theater . Total clad for both hunts for about 4 hours was $20.08

I am a HUGE elongated penny fan, so that is all it takes to make it a good hunt for me. Great hunt!

Nice haul! And you still got silver! WTG!
I like the Grauman's token. Nice charm & ring too.

I found some new spots to search, I want to clear out the easy spots first then I'll go for the fields once school is out for summer and we've had more rain.

I have a collection of them from when my Wife and I were first married . We would get them from the places we visited . Around 250 of them !

Can't tell from the picks, but I'm pretty sure that there are some 1964 D's that are double dies? Check the mint mark with a jewelers loop to see if it's double stamped. Some are hard to see with a naked eye. The double die makes it way more valuable. Cheers.

I'll check it out , thanks for the info .

All is cool but I really like the bottom line..20 dollars in change...as good as a little 10k..

Nice hunt anyways, my biggest quarter count out here lately is like 17 , dunno how you manage to find so many in four hours , you must just pop them right out . Was digging up bits of medium sized necklace chain yesterday, got to be annoying. They would read like 22 bullets. Think they were copper with a bit of gold wash, was like someone just undid all the links and dispersed them. Had one nice overload signal, was about 7 feet of logging chain with one of those brass connectors on one end.
