Found this one piece button last week. It was accompanied by a few other early buttons Flat and 1820s Great coat button. Trying to find definitive identification on net it touchy. All help is much appreciated. One piece Button.jpgOne piece Button size.jpgone piece button back.jpg It looks like there is some sort of image on front of button No back mark and the soldered shank is a bit odd.

Unfortunately, your pics have been reduced to the very small size of 86kb Alan. ???
When I post pics of my finds, I try to keep the size around 500kb, this allows for a better visual when the pic is 'opened up' by the viewer.

I tried to enlarge your pics, but they become too blurry to see any of the details due to the small size. :dontknow:

I will try again and send larger pictures to my computer for upload. Do you think that would help?

Thanks

Take them in natural daylight but not direct sunlight. I think I see something on the front but the shadow isn't helping any.
