Just think, you've just made the hunting easier for the next guy. ;)

VOL1266-X, this one was way too grown up to hunt effectively.......... but.......... a deer hunter came up after seeing my truck parked on the road. Remote area so when I seen him coming in his truck figured he was looking for me and I flagged him down. Once he found I had permission he turned out to be a super guy who just wanted to make sure I wasn't deer hunting as he has it leased. We spent a while talking about deer and metal detecting then he took me about a mile down the road to show me an old roadbed that leads to a house that he estimated was a large home due to the size foundation and stone wall etc. His family owns it and he gave me permission to hit it after deer season. So I am going to rule this one a productive hunt. The site I was at had potential and he said they usually cut it every year but just hadn't got to it this year. Hoping they will get it cut this winter when the land owner is through with his crops.:icon_thumleft:

I have more days like that than i can count. But we all know our hobby consist of the good the bad and the ugly.HH.
