We have access to a very remote, hard to get to spot here in central Massachusetts. The spot has stone lined roads, old fields that are now forrest and several cellar holes. We’ve been beating the cellar holes up for years so we just roam the fields. We were in there one day not finding much and had wrapped up for the day and made our hour long hike out, standing by our trucks we were going through what we had found, which wasn’t much, a few buttons and buckles. I emptied the contents of my pockets to look at the little pieces I couldn’t identify when I dug them. I had a little object I thought was a .22 slug and when I cleaned it off, it turned out to be a flintlock pistol shaped watch winder ( I had no idea what it was until I posted it here) anyway, I thought it was cool and it made the day and I have a much closer look at my junk now before I toss it out.
