Five solid weeks of rain here in Western PA. Still only about 1/3 of all fields plowed. I will post individual pics when I get a chance, but my favorites are my eighth net sinker ever (top center), the three triangle points in the middle (all three excellent workmanship for this area), and the perforator (next to the net sinker). The red piece has a little bit of secondary flaking but what really intrigues me is the material. I'm fairly certain it is not flint ridge...any ideas?

Can't complain about the rain. I hope everyone is ok in Missouri.

Some nice pieces, love the sinker.....

Excellent start! Those are some really nice pieces!

I'm actually driving up to the Jefferson County PA area (from Southern Ohio) and hope to walk some friends fields this coming weekend!

Good luck searching the remainder of the fields!

Good luck in Jefferson County AU Seeker. Let me know how you make out. A friend found 3 in that area this weekend, not sure exactly where.

Those are great!! All that rain is gonna be great for you. I hope you find a bunch of good ones :hello:

That long slender triangle is a gem.
Nice finds all. Thanks for the look.

Nice finds Hutch, the net sinker is pretty sweet, and the triangles are KILLLLER!

Nice haul Hutch!!! That point to the left of the perferator. That point if you can coupld you post front and back of it. It looks like a Holcomb or possible Crowfield. The tip is resharpened on it but it looks like it might be one of those two types. Both Paleo..........Thanks............................GTP

I agree with you it does look like an oldie.

Hutch, I had zero luck in Jefferson County :( The fields I walked were freshly plowed and dusty. I could barely spot a rock in the soil, let alone flint!

For that matter, all of southern Ohio needs a few inches of rain desperately!
