one o'clock at the oasis

I had some time today so I thought I would classify some cons and break out the blue bowl. I got the fines classified and went into the garage to get the rest of my equipment.
When I came back out it was apparent that I might not get to follow through with the original plans....a group of deer
were encamped on my site, drinking water from my buckets and treating my backyard like an oasis.
It looks like I will run the blue bowl tomorrow.
Rick

Re: one o'clock at the oasis

Thats cool, and quite a unique buck!!I have spent my whole life hunting and bow season is open right now but,for some reason I just like looking at them any more, especially when they are in the yard!!!!!

Excellent Pics
I may have to set up in the backyard too if that what it takes to see deer. :)

How can you refuse them a drink? Neat! TTC

Ok so when I read the heading, One Oclock at the Oasis, my mind did a double take and asked "now what would they be doing at that run down bar on the wrong side of the tracks in Redwood City"? I had to smile when I saw your great photos of "your friends" in your backyard and how they were enjoying the water, the shade and did not care a lot about your being near by. I'm also glad they do not like chewing on plastic.

Thank you for the fun share.........63bkpkr

PS - yes, I have been in the Oasis for a few minutes but only once and that was enough for me!

Nice pics Rick. Good reason to put off the plan for the day. Here's another fun pic for you Bro. I thought of you when I doodled this on the workbench with my soapstone marker. Enjoy.

In the late 60's it was not run down and I visited on several occasions and had a few.
