One Nice Little Point Today

Well if you aren't 1st you are good as last when looking for points in my area. This one was in a foot print with just the tip showing. Found the shard just before the point. I like it, rock

Hard to give a type name without a complete base. The tip looks very worn and polished.... Very interesting artifact!!

I like that blue stuff rock.
From my point of view although it's a little banged up it looks like I see what's left of some basal notch work to create a small stem I think one of the ears are broken off.. While it looks a little like an unfinished Hernando I think you have a nice little Eva

I was going to say the same, it looks like there was enough force to also damage the base. By-the-way, nice find!

It does show a impact fracture but the base doesn't look broken unless the water has smoothed it over also. It looks like a knife but with the impact fracture it must of been thrown or shot. I still cant find it in the books. Every time I find one it is a different type it seems.

Not sure which ones you've looked at I think you are way up north in Georgia here are some Morrow Mountain forms.. Just seems that I see a small stem on yours with a little damage and water wear

MM would fit that was the most popular point in my area it seems. I saw a guy post something once. He said is there anything else but "Garys" in Texas? I think about that every time I find a MM. It was funny the way he posted it with all of the Gary points he found.
