Shame on you StickShift......if you look closely you will see that those white Americans are US Cavalry, and they are shooting not so innocent Indian MEN...who had captured two INNOCENT WHITE WOMEN, and were about to SCALP and KILL them, rather than see them rescued. The reason for that battle was that the US 5th Cavalry followed those Indian MEN across Kansas as they were scalping white people, burning homesteads, and kidnapped two white women. I think today we would call it a search and rescue mission! Unfortunately, one of the two white women, Susanna Alderidge, who was 5 months pregnant, was killed by the NOT SO INNOCENT Indian men, before she could be rescued. The other white woman was rescued and returned to her family in Kansas.

Moral....one should look closely, research, and think before one criticizes or makes bold, untrue statements.
