I found this buckle? today as well. If anyone can give me an idea of age (or what kind of buckle) it would be appreciated. Thanks & HH!

That looks to me like a suspender adjuster, sorta in the same time frame as a Police Brace adjusters, circa late 1940's - 1950's.
