Had a little time and ambition after work today, so I returned to the beach where I had searched Sunday for a lost wedding ring.(Found six rings, but not the right one).
I gridded out the area as best as one can in chest deep water and pulled not one good signal(must have done a pretty good job Sunday).
Running short on time, I headed for shore in defeat. When I hit knee deep water, I veered left and followed the shoreline for a bit.I hit a big "high tone" and dug this bottle cap.....whoa!
A couple steps further and I got a broken nickle signal.
two big scoops down and out of the depths comes..... a nickle!
I fill in that hole, take a few more steps and get another broken nickle signal........two scoops.......and ..........Yeeeesss!
Although it is 10k, I believe the 14 stones are real...although low quality.Under magnification, a couple are milky and some inclusions are visible.(Too imperfect to be fake).
Shortly after....Lightning struck,,,and I headed out.
On the way home ,I stopped at Speedway for a coffee and upon checking my change found these two rosies. The newer one has a filled D and the date and motto are botched.
Not to shabby for a failed attempt....I think Ill keep looking for this ring ....its working well for me!
Best of luck to all......Joe
