One Moo-er

Found this outside of the side door of an old (1920-30's) school building. Seems like cast metal of unknown type. Loop on back is very thick. Definitely not a ring--and really not like a watch fob. Thinking maybe something to do with kid's milk delivery. Any help is appreciated, Dan

actually my freind, that is a boot jack. But the horns are missing. The 1st piece should be attached behind the head. The horns stick out and are spread a bit for the boot heel to go in. You step onthe face with the other foot and it helps pull off your boot.

Thanks...

for all the help. Definitely not a boot jack, as picture is deceiving--it's only as big as a large finger ring. Butter stamp? maybe, but the loop on the back would make an awkward grip. I still think it hung on something---or something hung on it. Any more ideas? --Dan

Thanks All-I think you got it...

I'm going with Junkdigger & Michael. I think it's a neckerchief slide. Napkin ring wasn't too far off either, Jarman. Thanks, all! Dan
