One little screaming Indian

Yesterday I went back to the cellar hole, I found a flat button and trash. Today I went back to the field I found the Walker Half and had a Indian scream at me! She was only a inch deep!

Me too, It took me a long time before I started finding them. Probably when I stopped being so picky about what I was digging. If I remember correctly I was not digging stuff if the number wasn't just right.

WTG Brad. I have only found 3 all year so it would make me happy you may have to try a different sized coil if it's overgrown. The ticks are still so bad here, I don't even dare woods hunts.

I enjoy finding those Indians, last fall in one of my woods spots I found the only Indian besides finding Wheats (all in the Forties) It was one of my few key date coins, 1873 Closed IHC
I love it when they come out of the ground with that date visible.

Nice looking IH it should wash up really nice, it's always an extra bonus when it's crisp and the patina is that nice deep green.
