Great tool's look's like you found the tool shed, I like that old butcher knife what is the handle wrapped with.

Yea im liking that knife too! Looks like a historic period(200-400B.P.) knife that was well preserved,im almost sure its indian as the whites traded alot of raw metal, steel, and iron to the indians during that period.

Dave thought he was funny and set this up his last trip out there...It only got me untill I seen the head.

That knife looks like a historic blade used by Indians after trading began. That point looks like a possible Folsom preform or incomplete folsom. Very nice!!!!!.................................GTP

Thanx guys...The spot I am digging was also dug in the 30's.The knife was pretty deep and it looks undug there. The handle has some fabirc on it and what looks like porus wood over that...I have the pieces in a jar.

Glad you had a good hunt to tide you over for a while. That knife is really cool!, not many posted on here. Good luck with your knee, have a speedy recovery, but don't push it!
