i went out with my brother to the old school that i must have pounded 100 times by now. we both have hit it hard and we have seen at least three other guys hammering it, but somehow it always manages to give up something. today i decided to dig all signals. and i mean all signals! my back is killing me as i must have dug 100 pulltabs!i did manage this 43P war nickel. 35% silver is going to have to do for today which is ok by me! its been a while since i got any silver! thanks for looking.

Keep in mind that 35% silver in a war-time nickel is something like the same amount that's found in 90% dimes. I don't remember the actual ratio, but it's something like that.

Nice one. Those war nickels are not easy to come by. My son with his DFX gets them more because when they are deep they sound more like a wheat penny than a nickel. My Explorer doesn't get faked out and I don't like digging pull tabs so my nickel count is usually low.

actually it was the GTI 2500. i cant pry the ace 250 out of my brothers hands! im going to order the explorer as soon as christmas is out of the way.
