Went off the mountain to see the family in NC today. My brother in Law and sister live in a old rock house
that was built late forty's. I took my detector down and in about an hour and forty five min I found A 1963 Quarter, 1943 dime, 1930 wheat penny, 1950 wheat penny and also other clad and a old cab off a toy truck. I only searched a small area maybe 1/10th of the property. I hope to get back there real soon.

I would say that you have an excellent site to hunt. Once you feel that you've hunted the entire area thoroughly, go over it again and again. You will be amazed at what continues to come out of the ground. I don't know what it is, but targets will be missed on one occasion but will be found on subsequent trips to the site. I suppose one thing could be that as trash targets are removed, good targets are no longer masked. Good luck and keep us posted.
