This coin is in bad shape I thought it was a penny but then I realized that it was smaller. It is a little smaller than a dime. It appears copper. I drew the only image I could make out using paint..don't laugh I can't even draw straight lines with paint. I assume it is the top image of the coin but could be wrong I might be holding it up side down. When cleaning it a chunk came off the back and under it was silver in color. I am not saying it is silver but its that color. Do they make coins out of other metals and then copper plate them?
Anyway here it is.

it looks like the pennies i find at the beach when they have been in salt water for a while ,pennies are mostly zinc with a copper coating
