Still on cloud 9 I returned to the site that I have been hunting in short sessions and actually had a few hours tonight. High hopes in my mind I turned on the at pro and started swinging right away I scored a 1918 wheat cent. I got a really faint but pretty consistent signal dug a plug and when I pulled out the dirt and sat it by the coil of the detector I heard that sweet sound. (I was thinking the target was deeper because of how faint the signal was maybe it was on edge?) Grabbed the pin pointer moved some dirt around and wow! I thought the anticipation of a silver rim was exciting but seeing "one dime" is absolutely heart racing!

It's a 1907-O Barber dime! A bucket lister for me! Absolutely thrilled! I've been hoping I would score a barber anything before the summers end! Woohoo!!!!! Not 10 minutes after the barber dime I scored the 1939 mercury dime and ended up with a total of 6 wheats on the night. I had dreams of the trifecta showing up but truly am thrilled anyways!

Great job welcome to the club!

awesome barber!, great hunt!!

Nice hunt, it's always nice to take one off the bucket list. Then there's some that stay there for decades upon decades and I see them post up regularly it seems.

Congrats! Found a Barber dime along with 2 Mercuries yesterday along with a couple of old wheat cents. It certainly is a great feeling!

Nice hunt and congrats on the Barber.
Put that bad boy in a coin folder and mark the date and place on it.

Nice to check that one off the list ! I remember when I found my first (1903) , in the mountains of New Mexico in 2008 .
(still looking for that elusive Indian Head cent !)

Congrats on digging that fist full of keepers. :occasion14: Love it when you check one off the bucket list. :headbang: Barbers are scarce where I hunt.

Way to go on the Barber dime. Nothing like finding one on the bucket list. Your Barber's not in bad shape, but it doesn't matter if you check one off the bucket list. I've managed to check 4 off the bucket list this year including a 1786 Vermont Landscape, 1795 half cent, 1852 3 cent silver and a gold coin, an 1871 British half sovereign. No small feat considering I've been detecting for 35 years. Hope your next swing checks off another.

You are ruining Michigan with that ATP. There aint going to be any good coins left up there!

Congrats on the Barber!

Congratz on the bucket list item!!!

Thanks everyone! It really is an awesome feeling, and a memory that will last forever!

That 1907 Barber is awesome, never found one.

Congrats on your first Barber! Hope you knock off a whole lot more bucket-listers!
