I was happy to get a day off and a complete day to detect a new field.
6am, let the dogs out in the yard. Perfect weather, temperature just over freezing. During breakfast it startet snowing. 3" to 4" at 10am. Windy too. I decided to drive to my shop and detect tomorrow... :coffee2:
This afternoon (still snowing) after the walk with the dogs, i was happy to make a banner find. I found my truck!!! :laughing7: Worthless to say that detecting in 8" snow is cancelled.... :BangHead:
I am sure that weather was send over from UK, just to make sure Cru and the other UK blokes can detect this weekend..... :tongue3:

Funny how life turns, ain't it. Just a little while ago I was wishing for the same thing. That somehow, I could find time for a whole day of detecting. Today, the weather went south and I decided to just take a whole day OFF from detecting! Rest up a bit. LOL

Maybe you could try a wooded area? Might be still un-snow-covered. ;)

HH! (next time you get a chance)

With all these vine yards around it sounds like a good idea "H"!

These wooded areas worth detecting are about 300' higher than my area... Lots of snow there too. I just wait a week or so. Very rare to have white Christmas here. Most years the really winter starts in january. :occasion14:
