One can meet the nicest people on the beach when detecting....I'm talkin' about
the detectorists from the T-Net forum whom I met over the past few days while on vacation...definitely gentlemen with class!
Fenway, Plymouthian, Surf n Turf, Whydah, and Leprechaun...it was a pleasure to share the beach with you.Thank you all for your graciousness.
Lep &Terri, thanks again for being such gracious host and hostess, and for the delicious pizza.
Whydah, thanks for all the much needed advice, and for helping Hank & me find our way back from a one way street!
Now...on to the finds: lots of silver coins,"Buffs", "wheaties", a "V" nickel( 1896), an IH , a musket ball, and my favorite...a lead jockey riding a horse.
Here is a link to what I believe is the origin of this lead race horse:
Get the Lead Out Vintage Lead Horses Lead by birdneststudio
I'd like to be back there ASAP!
Here's a couple of pics.
Thanks for looking
