On our Club Outing I found a Double Barrel Shotgun!

Several of our club members met today for some detecting at an old empty lot that at on time had some old houses on it.
To my surprise I found at least half of a double barrel shotgun! This is my first piece of a real gun! Also found a couple of wheaties
and a silver war nickel dated 1945-S. Hunting partners found a silver dime, wheat pennies, lots of clad, and quite a bit of trash. It was some
interesting hunting with the guys. Everyone had a good time...

I got one of those DAV key return tags two weeks ago. Prior to that, I had not seen one them since the 1970s.
