Got this 1912 plate today. Wacked it hard with the shovel when I pushed it in to cut the plug.

That's an old one! I hope I am in as good of shape when I am 109 years old!

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

It looks like MI wasted no time getting in car owners pockets. I'll bet there weren't very many cars in 1912. Henry Ford didn't get going until 1914. Gary

Cool find!!!!

Congrats that's cool just the way it is that's one of the oldest I've seen posted

Nice find of Mich. history. Put that on the front of your vehicle!

that's cool, and worth a few bucks even in that condition

Sweet! My pappy was 8 years then and I'm older then dirt.

Very nice! The only plates I have dug were disintegrated.

Nice old License plate. It beats my oldest by 6 years.

Very nice find

Nice! I wonder what kind of jalopy that plate hung on?

I believe it was close to a quarter million. My little hometown here in Michigan (not Detroit, Flint or Lansing) hosted almost 25 different automakers.

Cool Find, I found a 1924 NC Plate and turned into a nice slide guitar.
