Can anyone beat my 1883 Indian Head penny?

I know this topic has been introduced before (http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,25839.0.html) but I'm interested in reviving it. Immy, do you still keep track of oldest finds? Is anyone else keeping track?

There is an oldest find for each type for 2007 at the bottom of the Tracking list. If I remember correctly the oldest is an 1854 Seated Half Dollar.

And although I can't personally beat your 1883 IH penny, I did tie it a a little over a month ago with an 1883 IH penny of my own. My other oldest was an 1883 V Nickel (No Cents Variety) in 2006.

the oldest us coin i've ever found was a 1897 v nickel. but i did find a 1773 spanish 1/2 reale in with some dimes.

I cant Beat you But The Oldest Coin ive Found is a 1888 Indian Pennie.
