Unfortunately it is a Canadian large cent. Could have been a flying eagle. Another silver is a Canadian dime 1902 . Two mercs, two buffalo and two wheat's were my other coin finds. I couldn't find a pocket and I really tried hard today in the weeds.

Got a silver ring and two brass rings. Finds were few and far between today. I sure had my workout though. The weeds are taller and I was hunting underneath and all around them. I know there are more hot spots out there. I just have to find where they are hiding before the cold water comes.

Nice finds! Congrats!

Nothing wrong with those, and the buff looks good!

Sometimes when we try too hard we get less.
You did better than i did!

Nice finds! Oh yea - if you don't want that 1859 - I will be happy to send you my home address! :laughing7:

Don't sell yourself short on an old Queen Vicky LC! Nice find regardless. Buff looks like it was dropped the same year - 1937 - in great shape. Congrats.

LOL, I think I will keep this one actually. Oldest Canadian I have ever found. Now I want to find another fish scale from there. I have only found two in Michigan so far.

I'd love to find a Canadian largie.

They are out there. I think this is around 6 or 8 for me now in Michigan. However, I live around 3 minutes from Canada and where I am hunting is around 5 minutes from Canada.

Congratulations, I really am surprised. I would have thought you would have found something from the French history of the area. Maybe when the muck and silt clear out some. Still 1859 is great for Michigan. Good job once again.

Congrats on those nice finds from the water. :occasion14: Gotta love it when you pull your oldest.

Spirit of St. Louis pin or ring? That's pretty darn cool.

As usual, very nice assortment of finds.

That is a ring. it has Paris on one side and New York on the other side. Pretty nice little brass ring. Interesting I see none on Fee Bay. I need to research that critter also.
