Older Housing Projects

I was lucky enough to hunt and old housing project that had been used for officer housing during WWII in Mobile Alabama. I was also lucky enought to be the first Detector to ever touch the ground. My first day hunting was something I will never forget. I found 8 Walking liberty halves, 42 mercury dimes, around 100 wheats, 12 silver nickels, and many
eisenhower silver, along with buffalo nickels, and a few pieces of small jewelry. That was in one yard and there was about
150 apartment units in this complex so you can figure how much came out of the rest of the area. I spent several months hunting at every chance I got. I am sure there still might be some silver there but we worked it pretty hard.
Those places seem to be hard to find now, but they are still out there if you'r persistant.
