That's an interesting piece. There's something there...maybe someone can match the design...found in an area with the Franklin?

Is it to far gone for electrolysis? Nothing to lose I suppose...the other half may be close by. :)

Not entirely crust, seems like the silver/metal is protruding from it, wierd, hopefully someone recognizes that "E"

Tried looking for other half, got nervous that i had split it but it was an old break. I did git it a little baking soda, tin foil, boiling water bath.

That thing, whatever it really is, looks like it got very hot in a fire. Good luck with the ID...

Thanks matt, i was thinking possibly the "DEI" do u think the left side of the E turns down from the top and up from the bottom, i searched mex and brit coins and could not find that kind of font, your thoughts, thanks
