I need help with this old pocket watch. I received it from a ww2 veteran who took the watch from a dead German soldier. It was made by master watch co Swiss, has 15 jewels. I could not find this manufacturer on the internet or could find the year it was made. The JBB may indicate early 1900. I appreciate any help with this image1.JPGimage2.JPGimage3.JPG

nothing on the outside of the watch - front or back

JBB Plaque or GARANTHOANS METAL (The H might be a different letter I can only see two II next to each other)

Plaqué means plated, 'plaqué or' means gold plated; rather confusingly for English speakers the Swiss/French word for gold is "or". Usually "plaqué or" means gold filled or rolled gold, whereas "plaqué"" on its own without the additional "or" usually means electroplated.
Don....

I believe "Garanti 10 ANS" is the part that's hard to read
Although Garantie (with an e) seems more common

Around the gears I can read: 8 adj Master Swiss 15 Jewels, all written in English.

don't know who the mfg is, but can say that particular square body style was popular during the art deco period (1920s-30s)
