Found at abandoned homesite that was on the map in the 1860's. About 5" (maybe a touch less) in diameter. The back inner part is geared. There is a ridge around the outer edge (could have worked on a track maybe).

Really cool decoration!

I don't imagine this part would be related? Saw similar shaped things as I was searching for a flywheel. This was actually at another homesite not far away (200ft), but wondering if they were owned by the same person/family.

I agree with the sewing machine part, but there are some old coffee grinders that are similar. I would check those out too
