Old syringe? ???

I went out today to hunt a permission property 6hat was built in late 1800s and this I belive it's a old syringe, but don't know

Yeah I'd go with a grease gun too. I'd hate to have somebody using a needle that big on me. "You'll feel a little pinch" NOT!
