man, hard looking stuff up that old but i think i have a general location of the spot. but pretty sure its on company property now.
 

The sediment for over 100+ years over that swimming hole is at least 4-6 feet over the dropped treasures as a result of sinking

Plus the fact that the creek has industrial parks all around it, can only imagine the run off...

You are absolutely right about the clothes on the bank, Being a water guy I automatically thought in water. I need to remove my horse blinders and look around some more then normal.
