WAAAAHOOO, those fur trade relics and Spanish silver are AMAZING! :notworthy: I would love to dig some relics like that. You and Dale (IA) know how to hunt for those early fur trade relics! :icon_salut:

Now, get back out there and find us some more of those buggards! :icon_salut:

AWESOME Trade items Grig

Love the broach and the spear points !

As for the trade beads how are you finding them ? On top of the ground ?

At first we found ours on top of sifted fireplace dirt , but afterwards we'd haul bucket after bucket to the river and swish the dirt in a fine mesh spaghetti strainer , some buckets you'd get 40 or 50 beads , other buckets sometimes only 10. We sifted roughly 1 ton of dirt and theres still about 3 tons left to do. There'd be other "things" to find while sifting , like wampum , pins , and even several human teeth !

Congrats on the Great finds !!

Those are some sweet finds.

Looks like you got a nice colonial trade site. Must be hard to come by in WI.
