Still finding these plates, with the amount of spoons I'm finding I wonder if they have something to do with canning,it is an old farm field.

WT, great mix of finds there, congratulations. It looks like someone made that dandy button into a whizzer toy...

I still think your medallion/ pendant is Egyptian themed, with the Ibis /stork /crane motif and maybe some hieroglyphics on it? Those little plates and accompanying spoons may be part of an antique toy set of dishes, lost playing in the dirt by antique children :laughing7: .

Happy Hunting, Sub 8-)

medal might be Egyptian revival - late 1800s

Those might be kids toy plates? :dontknow: Congrats on the other digs,. :occasion14: Sad to say the FE still eludes my coil.

Really super cool stuff there, old, old old...it's actually kinda weird that the Merc looks out of place lol...I have no idea about the medallion, but it looks like Sub n Casper have it nailed down pretty close...congrats on what looked like a great time...Ddf

Looks like you're finding lids to some Sterno cans. You might be on an old picnic spot.
Congratulations on your finds.

Fantastic relic hunt, congratulations! :occasion14:

Nice finds! Would of really liked that ring not broken!

Nice array of goodies! Congrats!

Guess you found the picnic area.
You must have several sets by now.
Maybe theres a silver salt/pepper shaker there somewhere.

Found 16 so far scattered over several acres,I'm looking forward to finding sterling utensils.:laughing7:

Your top dandy button has the look of George Washington button! You need to find out what that lettering says. It is the perfect size and several of the GW varieties have lettering around the rim of the button

Be nice if it was..it's NOT.
